The forum now has a nifty addition called post templates...
What does this mean?
Well, this allows you to create multiple posting templates on the Modify Profile page under the added section titled "Posting Templates". Once you have created some templates and press the Modify Profile button when you are finished, they will be available to you on the posting page and quick reply. All you have to do is click the drop down menu and click on a template and it's contents will be automatically inserted into your post.
Examples:
Modify profile page-
Posting page-
Quick reply-
Now here is a step by step on creating them and using them:
1) Go to your profile page.
2) Click Modify Profile.
3) Scroll down to Post Templates.
4) Click the Create option and a box will come up.
4.1) Insert the name of your Post Template (don't put spaces in it, so for example...
UltimateCrossoverBanner
Is acceptable and will work, where as...
Ultimate Crossover Banner
Is not and won't be allowed.
4.2) Once you've confirmed your template's name, go to the drop down box underneath the create and delete options and make sure the option you've clicked is the template you want to edit.
4.3) In the box underneath, you can now type whatever you want to be able to insert into a post with ease in the future.
As an example, I tend to put in my banners with their img tags and bbcode formatting:
4.4) When done, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click 'Modify Profile' just like you would when saving any normal changes to your profile....
5) To use your new post template, go to the desired thread and use either the reply or quick reply options.
5.1) You'll notice a drop down box with nothing but '- - - - - - - - - - -' in it.
5.2) Click the drop down box and select the template you want to insert into your post.
5.3) BINGO! You should now see your post template in your posting box.
In my case... It means I'll have my banner code already put in and ready for me.
6) When ready... Post it. XD
~
That should be all anyway.
I think it makes sense, but if you need any help, just feel free to message me. Albeit, I believe this should suffice lol.
I hope you all enjoy this feature and find it as useful as I'm sure I will.
